Tim Fab-Eme serves as an editor at Reckoning: Creative Writing on Environmental Justice, a Michigan-based environmental journal, and has judged for the Firecracker Awards, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and the Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards. A former climate action writer-in-residence at Cove Park, Scotland, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering and an MFA in Creative Writing degrees, and is the recipient of the Samuel and Mary Anne Hazo Poetry Award and the CSC International Justice Poetry Fellowship. His work appears in The Malahat Review, New Welsh Reader, apt, The Fiddlehead, Magma, and others. Tim is admitted to the joint Ph.D. in Peace Studies and Anthropology at the University of Notre Dame, where his research will explore the materiality of energy infrastructure and its impact on marginalized communities in Nigeria’s Niger Delta and the U.S. Midwest. He is also a member of Just Transition Northwest Indiana.
